Welcome to LT Admin Access Requests

Please use this website if you are requesting administrative access to the following tools:

  • Canvas and Canvas Catalog
  • Kaltura MediaSpace (KMS) as either an Admin or a Channel Manager

For each application, you will be asked:

  • To complete an administrative access and confidentiality agreement
  • To provide appropriate approvers in your department, faculty, or unit

How the process works

Submit your request
Log in and complete the application form.

Recommenders approve
Your recommenders receive an email and approve your request.

Staff review
The team reviews and processes your request.

Access granted
You are notified when access has been set up.

Current UBC employees with a valid UBC email address and support from their department.

The timeline depends on how quickly your recommenders respond and staff availability to act on the request. You will receive a confirmation email when your request is submitted, and you can check the status of your request at any time by logging in.

Please follow up with your recommenders directly. Your request will not proceed until your recommenders have approved it.

Yes, your request can be edited until it is denied or granted. It may also be returned to you for additional information or modification if necessary. You will be notified if changes are required. You also have the option to withdraw a request at any time.
